Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Program
The Scholars Advantage:
- All Scholars Facilitators possess a B. Ed. and are experienced in dealing with adult learners. Instructors are friendly and open-minded to accommodate a broad range of student capabilities.
- Scholars ensures that timelines are met. Program timelines are based on an average keyboarding speed of 40 WPM. Keyboarding speed can be assessed by using a keyboarding program. If a student is significantly below this level, the student should also complete 3-5 weeks of keyboarding through a recognized keyboarding program. This option allows the student to improve his/her keyboarding skills and increases the student’s exposure to the computer.
- Students who have little computer experience or have not used a computer can benefit from the Scholars Internet and Core Computing Certification Program to address the most basic computer skills, which will assist the student in successfully completing the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Program within the suggested timelines.
