Scholars Success Stories
Dear Bonnie,
Just wanted to express my pleasure with you and your staff at Scholars Aurora. As you know my son, Brady, attended for his entire grade seven year as well as the summer prior to starting grade seven. His final math marks for grade six were as follows: Number Sense- D- Measurement- B- Geometry- C+ Patterning- C- Data Management- C+. I am very proud to say that his final marks in grade seven were: Number Sense- 78 Measurement- 77 Geometry- 81 Patterning- 74 Data Management- 79.
Scholars not only met my expectations but far exceeded them. Not only did you teach my son what his teachers and myself could not…you instilled confidence in him. No longer is he afraid of math, he now proudly boasts that it is one of his best subjects. I would like to say many thanks to you and your staff for the regular communication as well. It was nice to see his progress at Scholars; he was always excited when the envelope came home.
I would not hesitate to recommend Scholars Aurora to anyone!
Regards,
Kim
Tristin was having extreme difficulties at school. In grade 9, he was doing grade 5 work and teachers were telling Tristin’s parents that he would never be in a regular grade for his age. After hearing about Scholars from a friend, Tristin's parents decided to enroll him in an English program.
Since he started attending Scholars, Tristin's level of confidence and his self-esteem have increased and he has a positive attitude towards learning. After attending Scholars for four months, Tristin is doing regular grade 10 work and he is out of the career path program and is doing very well at school.
Thank you, Scholars!
Vasuki came to us when she was in grade 7. She wanted to enrich her education to prepare her for entry into a private high school. After two years with us she received a generous scholarship and was admitted to the high school of her choice.
To The Amazing Team at Scholars
You guys have done a great job preparing Vasuki for her obstacles in her educational life. Her scholarship has definitely proved your worthiness. (Vasuki won a $50,000 scholarship to a prestigious high school – the highest scholarship ever awarded in the school’s history.)* Since starting when she was in grade seven, Vasuki herself has seen an improvement in her studies. Yet, the thing we most appreciate is the dedication you have had to build the foundation and confidence she needs to achieve a high academic standard in her future. She has used this confidence to not only jump over, but succeed in the obstacles that come her way.
Scholars has helped us very much with its friendly environment and dedicated teachers. They also promote learning and success to those who seek it. We thank you on Vasuki’s success and would recommend you guys to anyone who wants to benefit greatly from what you have been offering to kids.
Yours truly,
The J. Family
To All the Fantastic Scholars Teachers
I wish to thank you for a wonderful school year for my two children. With your support and guidance I watched my children become more confident and responsible as their grades improved.
As a teacher I realize that learning is more than just books and lesson plans, it is taking the time to have students truly understand and absorb the material in front of them. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to achieve this without having a very small ratio and special attention. At scholars both my children received this individual attention twice a week! Not only did their grades improve, but they achieved the love of learning!
As a mother, I saw the difference in my children’s attitudes about school work. The self discipline to do homework right away and always having it completed for the next school day was a true accomplishment. I thank you for this.
Thank you over and over,
Lori D.
"I knew Branden would get the attention he needed. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. Overall it was an enjoyable experience." - Happy Mom whose son spent 9 months at the centre in Academic Upgrading Reading program.
Branden mentioned that he felt good about himself about coming to Scholars because he knew that he was getting help. He really liked the toy shelf and the teachers at the centre and really noticed his increased confidence.
Kaitlyn
Scholars has made a huge difference in my daughter's life. To see my daughter struggle in school and with her confidence was very difficult. Since she has been going to Scholars, Kaitlyn has become more confident with herself and is doing very well in school. I would and have recommended Scholars to other parents who have children experiencing similar problems. Thank you to all the staff who have made a difference in my daughter's learning.

Leanna
I initially came to Scholars because my daughter asked for a tutor… Scholars, being Canada-wide, looked like they had firm standards and dependable testing methods as well as good governance of staff. The stages of progress both surprised and encouraged my daughter, which led to enthusiasm to proceed. We noticed more confidence and enthusiasm towards school and a sense of accomplishment. I liked the quality of the staff, organization and the response I saw in my daughter. Thank you for over seeing Leanna's progress and for encouraging both her progression in math and her attitude towards self-accomplishment.
